Well, in Vienna City Center you can get much better currency exchange rates than at Vienna Airport. If you are choosing between exchange at the airport and exchange in the city, you should stick to exchanging your money in the center of Vienna.
However, exchange margin charged by money changers in Vienna is still quite big so exchanging money in your home country or withdrawing Euro from ATM in Vienna might be a better option.
