Kaunas Airport (KUN) is Lithuania’s second largest international airport located near Kaunas. You can easily reach the city by taking a public bus from Kaunas Airport to city centre. KUN Airport is not a big one so finding the bus stop won’t be difficult there. Just turn left after getting out from the terminal building and you will notice a sheltered bus stop about 40 m away.

Bus 29 from the airport to the city centre runs from 05:21 on weekdays and from 05:12 on weekends and national holidays with the last bus departing from 23:35 to 01:30, depending on the day of the week. The frequency of the bus is about every 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the time of the day.

The journey from the airport to Kaunas Railway Station takes about 40-50 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes less to reach the city centre.
From Kaunas City Centre to the airport Bus 29 runs from 04:23 on weekdays and from 4:28 on weekends and national holidays. The last bus of the day departs from the train station to the airport from 21:42 to 23:26, depending on the day of the week.
Kaunas Airport Bus 29 Ticket Price
Bus tickets for the trip from the airport to the city centre can be purchased from the bus driver. Kaunas Airport Bus ticket price is 1 EUR for a single journey. Only cash can be used for buying a ticket on the bus. Make sure to have coins or small banknote for payment as the driver might not have change if large banknote will be given.
You can use the app for getting your bus ticket instead as it would be cheaper – e-ticket costs only 0.70 EUR for a single journey and even allows you to change the bus within 30 minutes from the start of your trip.
