Currency Exchange at Prague Main Railway Station

Prague Main Railway Station or Praha hlavní nádraží is the largest railway station in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. If train travel is included in your trip plan, most probably you will visit this Prague’s transportation hub. Here you can find a big supermarket, various stores and service providers. Currency exchange office can also be found at Prague Main Train Station.

Currency Exchange Office

Prague Main Railway Station’s currency exchange office Forexchange can be found at the lower level, the same level where BILLA supermarket can be found. Here you can exchange your foreign currency to Czech Koruna (CZK).

On Google you will find many terrible reviews about the money changer at Prague Main Train Station as at least before they were displaying very attractive exchange rates and secretly charging even 22% commission. What a rip off!

At the time of our visit they were proudly advertising their 0% commission policy so the situation might have changed. However, currency exchange rates at Prague Main Railway Station were less than attractive as that 22% commission now seems just to be included in exchange rate.

Currency Exchange Rates

On the day of our visit, currency exchange rates at Prague Train Station were a bit better than at Prague Airport for the most popular currencies but still much worse than you could get in the city center.
