Your luggage can be stored at left luggage office for a maximum of 72 hours. When collecting your luggage after the prepaid 24 hours, you will need to make an extra payment that will depend on the time exceeded.
Currently some of the luggage lockers at Nuremberg Train Station are labeled as Short-term luggage storage lockers. These are the lockers that come with the large size and are offered at a reduced price if being used for up to 6 hours. Short-term luggage lockers are easy to notice as there's an orange-colored sheet of paper attached to the lockers. The price of the short-term use of such locker is 3 EUR for up to 6 hours. In case you will not be getting your luggage back on time, you will need to pay additional 3 EUR for every additional 6 hours (or part of it).
Payment for the luggage storage at Nuremberg Train Station lockers can be made in cash only. The locker machine accepts 50 cents, 1 Euro and 2 Euro coins only and doesn’t give a change so using it might look tricky if you don’t have plenty of coins in your pocket.
